4 Industries Investing in Video Marketing

As each year passes, video marketing continues to trend in an upward direction. Videos not only strongly influence traffic, but also increase leads and help customers gain an understanding of products and services. It’s no surprise that many industries are capitalizing on the success of video marketing. Here are 4 industries in which businesses are using marketing videos to grow.

  1. Higher Education

  2. Real Estate Agencies

  3. Ecommerce

  4. Manufacturing

1.HIGHER EDUCATION

High school graduates have one of the biggest decisions of their young adult life when choosing the college they attend. Videos are a great platform to help educate them on all of the opportunities each college has. They provide a consolidated source of information that answers any frequently asked questions and allows them to see a glimpse into the day-to-day life on campus. A well orchestrated video will make students and parents feel more familiar with the school without having to visit in person.

In the past, we’ve created educational videos that were tailors to specific departments of the colleges. As you’ve probably heard before, niching down will help you stand out. By niching down into a department or two, we were able to grasp a full understanding of what they were trying to get across in the video.

2.REAL ESTATE AGENCIES

Real estate is an industry in which marketing is absolutely essential to attract new clients. There are hundreds, sometimes thousands of realtors in a given area, so without strong marketing it can be very difficult to stand out. Videos allow you to showcase your brand and differentiate yourself from your competition. I always recommend that realtors try creating YouTube content and not ONLY content about their current listings.

3.ECOMMERCE

Ecommerce is an industry that completely relies on digital marketing. Products that are strictly being sold online don’t have any sort of physical location customers can buy them at. Their sales are dependent upon quality marketing and video is a critical factor here. Short-form social ads for products are extremely effective. They can easily be ran as Facebook/Google ads. Make sure you create a variety of content, product photos, a sizzle reel, and lifestyle content.

4.MANUFACTURING

Industrial and manufacturing businesses tend to be perceived as complicated businesses. Just because they may not be as cut and dry as a restaurant or clothing brand, doesn’t mean they should be neglected when it comes to video content. There are multiple use cases for video content in this field. From internal applications such as training videos, to larger scale projects to target their investors such as a brand/anthem video.
